Seven Slot Grille

The Seven Slot Grille is owned by Doug and Christy Wallace. Our restaurant features home cooked meals, home made soups, and our own home baked breads (raisin, whole wheat, white, rye, sourdough, sub buns, hamburger buns, dinner rolls, and biscuits).

We value our customers and their health. This is why we use organic, non-GMO soy oil in our fryers. We also make our own BBQ Sauce, Honey Mustard, Cole Slaw, and Marinades which we use for our chicken breast. We neither use corn syrup as preservatives nor sweeteners.

We have a deli with a variety of meats and cheeses at unbeatable prices. We do special events, even catering! We have weekly lunch and breakfast specials with a variety of ice cream for dessert and are open seven days a week from 7am to 3 pm.

The Seven Slot Grille opened on January 21, 2008. Through the years, the name has evolved from "Nu Star", "Tall Moose Café", "Recipe" "Coffee Haus" and "Renees". This highlights our more than 30 years of service as a family owned and operated restaurant. Though we believe there are several excellent food service establishments here in Reed City, we are proud of the quality, portion size and most importantly our dedication to the "family dining experience".

We opened Seven Slot Grille with the intention of giving our children some practical work experience and to instill some sort of work ethic. We both worked as kids and believe it may have helped us to become the hard working, driven people we are today. Our children are very much a part of Seven Slot Grille team.
